  • There will be No Chinese Orchestra Practice on 4 July 2009 (both sectional & combined practices).
  • There will be No practice on 6 July 2009, Monday, as it is a Youth Day holiday.
  • All practices will resume from 11 July 2009, Saturday onwards.
 

  • There will be No Wushu School Team Practices on 29 June 2009 (P4 and P5) and      3 July 2009 (P3).
  • Wushu Enrichment conducted by Mr Quek on weekday nights will also be cancelled for Term 3 Week 1.
 
Updates for Term 3, Week 2

1. The following activities will be suspended in Term 3, Week 2:
  •     P3 Swimming Lessons (during PE lessons)
  •     All CCAs (unless otherwise stated by Teachers i/c)
  •     P5 Supplementary Lessons
  •     P1-P4 Remedial Lessons
2. GEP afternoon core curriculum lessons are to resume on Tuesday, 7 Jul 09.

3. P4 & P5 BiCEP classes are to resume on Tuesday, 7 Jul 09.

4. P6 Mainstream and GEP supplementary lessons to resume and to be conducted ONLY on Tuesday, 7 Jul 09.

5. Reminder to ALL pupils: Please bring your ODT to school.


Updates on AM & PM Session Dismissal


1. Both the Eco Garden Gate (near main gate) and Side Gate (nearest to basketball court) will be opened during AM (1.00pm - 1.30pm) & PM (6.30pm - 7.00pm) dismissal times  for EXIT purposes only.

2. For entry purposes, all visitors & parents are to enter via the Back Gate.

3. The Back Gate will also be opened for exit purposes.

4. Temperature-taking will resume for all walk-in parents and parents who drive into the school to fetch their children during PM dismissal time.


Advisory on Activities


The following activities will not be conducted during Term 3 Week 1:
1. Swimming during P.E. classes
2. CCAs
3. Enrichment Classes
4. Supplementary/Remedial Lessons
5. Mass Assemblies


Latest Update on School Dismissal

1. As of 30 Jun 09, the gate near the Eco Garden will be opened at 6.30p.m. for EXIT purposes ONLY. Visitors are NOT allowed to enter the school via this gate.

2. Parents who fetch their children can come into the school  via the Back Gate (footpath) and the Main Gate from 6.15 p.m.  Their temperatures will be taken and those with temperatures at or above 37.6 deg Celsius will not be allowed to enter the school. They are to wait outside the school gate and the teacher on after-school care duty will escort their child to them.

3. Parents that are allowed entry into the school after 6.15p.m.(trigger temperature lower than 37.6 deg Celsius), are to wait at the canteen for their child.

H1N1 Precaution & Updates

 

All pupils and staff who have travelled to H1N1 affected countries (as of 23 Jun 09, MOH website: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR), Indonesia and New Zealand ) are to observe a self-quarantine of 7 days from the date of their return to Singapore.

1. Pupils and staff who have travelled to any of the affected countries will be issued a LOA (Letter of Absence).

2. A Travel Declaration form and a H1N1 Communication Note will be mailed to to their homes. Those who do NOT receive them are to inform the school by Fri, 26 June 09.

3. All pupils are to re-submit their Travel Declaration form on Mon, 29 June 09.

4. Pupils on LOA will re-submit their Travel Declaration form upon return from their LOA.

5. Teachers will contact their pupils on their health status and travel history before Fri, 26 June 09.

6. All pupils are to bring their ODT on Mon, 29 June 09 when the term starts.

7. The Canteen Gate & Gate near Eco Garden (near main gate) will be locked from Mon, 29 June 09 to Fri, 3 July 09.
